Visual glitch – all visuals disappear after deleting one and changing pages

Hello Power BI Team,

I'm experiencing a persistent rendering issue in Power BI Desktop version 2.145.1105.0 (July 2025). This bug occurs in both the Microsoft Store version and the .exe installer version.

Issue Summary:
Whenever I delete any visual or object on a report page and quickly navigate to another page, all visuals disappear temporarily — as if they were deleted. However, they are still there and reappear after saving and reopening the .pbix file.

This makes it appear that the visuals are gone, which disrupts the editing experience significantly.

Important Observations:

  • If I wait around 1 minute after deleting a visual (without navigating pages immediately), the issue does not occur — visuals remain stable.

  • This behavior suggests that Power BI may need extra time to reprocess or re-render the layout internally after deletions.

What I have already tried:

  • Uninstalled both the Store version and the .exe version completely;

  • Cleared all Power BI cache;

  • Deleted everything inside the %temp% folder;

  • Reinstalled the latest version from both sources;

  • Looked for any available GPU acceleration setting, but it’s no longer accessible in the current version.

Additional context:

  • A colleague of mine experienced the same issue once, but in their case, restarting Power BI Desktop resolved the problem permanently.

  • In my case, the issue persists even after multiple restarts and reinstalls.

Request:
Please investigate this potential rendering/timing bug, and if possible, restore the option to disable hardware graphics acceleration or introduce a visual stability fix for layout refresh after deletion actions.

Let me know if diagnostic logs or more system details are needed — I’ll be glad to assist.

Best regards,
David Marques
