View Version/Metadata for Custom Visuals

It would be nice if there were a way to view some metadata about a custom visual, such as it's version, if that data is available. Right now we can only see the name of the custom visual from the toolbox as a tool-tip on that visuals icon. If the information is available (or if a change can make it possible for custom visual developers to provide that information), maybe the information for that visual could be displayed when it's selected on a report page?
