Even word allows version history! Instead, I make duplicate files named v1, v2, v3, v4, v5 etc to combat this. I now have about 27 different files for one powerbi project 😀.
Also, when I want to make changes to a report page I create a duplicate page in case I mess it up. Please make the undo/version history/autosave functionality, as is present in every other office application(!) - I don't feel the need for messy duplicates in other apps.
