Today, we can programmatically scale up and down VNet Data Gateway members (nodes in the cluster) either via Powershell or Fabric notebook. But there is no option to auto scale the nodes in the cluster based on the background and interactive operations volume and utilization. The ask here is very similar to what Microsoft provides for PBI Premium Capacity Autoscale. Is this something in the roadmap?
This will remove the effort of constantly finding the optimal time to scale up and down the nodes so the semantic model refreshes (particularly) finishes without much resource contention.
