Updates to Report Server should be available more frequently

It seems unfair that Power BI desktop is updated each month with new and improved visuals but we will have to wait several months longer to have these improvements in Power BI Report Server. For example the new matrix visual is big improvement but those with Report Server will have to wait about 6 months before it is available to them. I'd like Report Server updates in parallel to Desktop updates.

At the very least, get an update out that lets us use the latest custom visuals! Letting the API version out of sync is ridiculous.

DMNC from what I have seen they do not include all the features up to the release of the report server. It would be great if they did seeing how there are some useful additions on the non RS option. Unfortunately I have not had success with reports uploaded to report server with power Bi desktop versions outside the RS version.

Can we use custom visuals form the "import from marketplace" option with Power BI RS? People mention wanting to get the "latest" ones below, which seems to imply they can get some but not all. If that's the case how does one know which marketplace visuals you can import and which ones you cannot for a given version of power BI RS? Also do the visuals need to be installed server side as well? thanks

Would it be possible to release new monthly features as 'add-ons' or 'plug-ins' for Report Server? Rather than wait for a full fledged release to include them all?

There are laws that prevent us from putting personal information in the cloud. Your monthly release for desktop is useless to so many companies. You're cheap for exactly this reason and because you're cheap I have to use you.
