Transfer of ownership of created dashboards

It would be great if there was an option to tranfer ownership of created reports and dashboards. This way, work would not have to be duplicated if the original creator was to leave the company/change roles/etc.

This is a must have, being able to backup and restore content is a must have in the enterprise space.

This is already a headache for folks in my organization and causing duplication of effort in a development vs common workspace. I notice that Lorey indicates that this is planned "before end of year" - but that response is more than a year old. Is there any update on this item?

Not able to transfer dashboard ownership in an easier way is definitely causing troubles in my organization. Is there any update on this one? I see that it was planned for end of year 2016.

I desperately need this feature as well! We're being asked to support a dataset that we have no visibility of, due to business stakeholders going ahead and creating their own dashboard in PowerBI. This is a must.

Yes. It is needed. Because we will transfer the ownership other account as for first implementation is using our company account. As the dashboard created with real-time streaming, divert Azure Stream Analytics output to other account will create new dataset but all of the dashboard must be made again. If it can be use like Azure which can transfer service to other subscription, must been better. I have 80 dashboard for each machine as details, will be stress if to create back the dashboard one by one again. Vote 1 for this idea. It's post on 2015 and still support on 2017.
