Textbox vertical alignment

In addition: in earlier versions (2018 Aug for instance) Power BI didn't even allow you to decrease the height of the textbox less than required for the chosen font size and make the text look middle-centered. Please consider vertical aligning of the text.

in general, add all excel formatting options, this, freeze panes, colored tabs, any others people can think of.

I agree with Jared, just add all of the excel formatting options

This is really basic. Don't waste developer time on fancy controls and cloud compatibility until you can do the basics that have been in Excel for decades. I know developers tend to value information over presentation but customers particularly managers (who pay for stuff) really value presentation. Vertical text alignment should be in all controls as standard.

Totally agree this is a basic excel function. This must be a really easy fix.

So many basic things missing from Power BI - this is one of those. Stop the new development and go back and fix the basic functionality.

I agree with all of the comments. Your OOB visuals would benefit from some attention and should at least have the same feature set as those in Excel. Please add a UEX person to your team.

How is this necessary feature not implemented yet??
