Text Slicer keep focus after enter, allowing multiple inputs (Scanning multiple barcodes, etc)

Use Case:

Imagine you have a tablet, your Power BI app and youre scanning labels to Pick items.

If we were able to keep the focus in the search field it would support scanning multiple barcodes in a row, like a pick list.

Example: 

After scanning a barcode:
- notice cursor is not in the input anymore, and rightfully so, it received an enter key.

What I'd like to see:

Thoughts:
I suppose the feature idea for this would be to require a mouse click (or tab) to take the focus.  I don't think this is something that only I'd enjoy.  All together, having more configurabitliy for this slicer all around would be incredible.  It is really versatile!
