Please can you make on-premise data sources, in particular SQL Server available for template app's.

I was very dissappointed when i get this "Connecting to data sources that require on premises gateway is currently not supported" message when i enter parameters and click NEXT on the side i install the app. It's the most basic way of reporting, connection on-premise datasource. The reason i use template apps is to "preserving their intellectual property within the template app" like lars_kemmann mentioned. So i can serve my product -as a report- for less prices to my customer.
