Here's an basic PoC I did about 3 years ago using Tableau Public. It's all sample data, but it shows SSRS style parameters and how the table filters the line chart. I'm no Tableau expert and this was done in an hour or so. If I'd used a slicer it would have a different sort order to the table and could lead to confusion.
