'@MattAllington A lot has changed in Power BI in 15 months, and now a slicer may be a less than ideal work around seeing we can manage interactions. But in my scenario you would be unnecessarily adding a slicer to a report when using a table as the slicer / filter would work fine. Remember that the slicer is just a single column of unique values. Why would you want to add extra ink & complexity on the report? Users would have to move away from their point of focus and interact with a different object on the report. So I'd be happy if we introduce a new slicer which has many columns (or a table slicer/filter :-) )
