Power BI is years overdue for this very basic BI/viz functionality. It must be blocked by some messy tech debt. But we can't use Power BI Desktop fully if this is not supported.
Desktop product team, please, please deal with this. There are items marked as solutions on the community forum, but yeah, increasing the font size of the values in the cells of the matrix or table to 36pt is NOT a solution.
It works so naturally for vertical bar charts. But if we have a matrix below, with the same date columsn, the columns are all smashed together over on the left. And no, we can't just manually adjust the width, because it's a rolling date window, so next month a new column will be added, tightly squashed up next to its neighbor.
This is ridiculous. Please fix it. Please. Out of respect for your users that don't want to master 27-step workarounds. But who just want to work quickly and effectively to knock solutions for our teams.
