Support for Hierarchies

I have found no support for using existing data model hierarchies in either Power BI or Power BI Desktop. It is not either possible to create own hierarchies in Power BI Desktop. This feature would greatly approve the the ability to build reports based on eg. dates, geography and organizational structures.

I found out you can create a hierarchy in Power Pivot, import the model to Power BI. The hierarchy will be in your model then.

Thank you for adding Hierarchies to the model design. However, it is crutial that the hierarchies can be added to a Filter. I hope this is planned.

If I drag a hierarchy with (fiscal) years and weeks to a graph, I can only display one of the two. Result is that the weeks are being sorted from low to high, messing up the hierarchy. Is this going to be fixed anytime soon?

I am able to create hierarchy. However, if I had created the hierarchy by mistake, how do I drag it out of the hierarchy again? Thanks;

I am not able to view the hierarchies from my tabular model in Power BI Desktop connected through live connection. Does anyone knows what might be the issue here?

I am doing live connect to Tabular Model and wanted to create hierarchy for one of my dimension (not date dimension). I don't see option when I right click on the field to add hierarchy. Please advise
