Support dashboards in Power BI Report Server

Please add support for Power BI Dashboards to Power BI Report Server.

Earlier this year, I was very pro-Power BI and MS can meet our BI needs, without on-site dashboards though, I'm not sure that I can sell this and may need to go with another option.

Most (if not all) organizations wanting or needing Power BI on premise are those who cannot place the data in the cloud. They want a solution that is equivalent to the cloud offering in terms of functionality. Dashboard is definitely high priority in the functionality list. Also does Microsoft have a dashboard solution in their BI stack, other than Power BI dashboard?

Its good to have Reports on-Premsis using Power BI Report Server. It would be a great idea if we could have the functaionality of Creating Dashboards as well. I am not talking about the similar functionality as we have on PBI Service. It would be great if we only have PIN to a Dashboard feature; it will help in Blending and Summerizing the Analytics. Just like SSRS Reports, PBI Reports and KPI's there would be a new type called "DASHBOARDS". They could be created from Visuals from PBI or SSRS Reports; On clicking, you will navigate to specific reports.

Realtime charting via the REST API would be a killer feature for so many applications in our business. The extortionately expensive reporting front ends for thinsg like our phone system (help desks), support ticket system and business workflow processes (HR and document services)

Hi Guys. Any clue when the On-Premis PowerBI server and desktop client will also receive an update? The last one was in June. All my cients are public sector and have purchased a heavy SQL 2016 SA licence just to have PowerBI without the sought after improvements of the August release

Most of the clients I speak with want the option to go on-prem. Currently with all the limitations that is not possible. I understand the cloud first strategy and I advice to go cloud all the time, however some companies are not ready for that yet. For them the on-prem report server MUST offer the same functionality as the Power BI Service, so including dashboards, Q&A, RLS, etc.
