I am extremely disappointed to see that this has been back-logged, and is not getting the attention it demands and needs. It is clear that you are pushing everyone into the cloud, but some industries cannot, because of regulatory requirements, move everything into the cloud.

Very disappointing that this is not being implemented, dashboards are such an integral part of data visibility.

I agree with some previous posts that I am very disappointed with this decision. I think there is a lack of understanding that a lot of organisations are no where near ready to put their data in the cloud. The lack of dashboards in the on-premise version restricts you to very basic reports and not enterprise level ones that can link well together. Think of your customers for this product!

Does this mean we'll be able to present PowerBI.com hosted dashboards, within Power BI Report Server, without requiring a separate Power BI Pro license (or cloud Premium subscription)? Though I'd rather not need to send users browser sessions off to PowerBI.com, as part of the idea of using on-prem Power BI Server, is to keep data and reports on-prem.

Just to note, the status has now changed from Declined to Not Planned. Interesting one...

"The team will be investing in the integration of the dashboards and leverage the dashboard platform of Power BI.com as the solution for this scenario" How can PowerBI.com be the solution for this scenario? The point is, some of us are not allowed to put our data in the cloud and pay for PowerBI Server in order to make the best use of our Microsoft stack. Are you guys trying to get all your BI customers to move to Tableau? Sure feels like it.

Sorry Microsoft but you are not listening to your customers. do you really think world wide databases of confidential data will ever go to the cloud? if you don't want to be in this business just close doors and stop wasting other people's time!
