The ability to display and create Filled Maps (choropleth) using the native SQL Server geometry/geography data types is a must to allow for meaningful geospatial visualization. e.g. Visualize crimes by police beat.
Agree, there is no way to visualize the data by the geography/boundaries that define our business. We need to be able to add boundary shapes to the map whether that is by SQL Server geometry data types, GeoJSON, or shapefiles doesn't matter.
