Support SQL Server Geometry/Geography data types in Power BI

The ability to display and create Filled Maps (choropleth) using the native SQL Server geometry/geography data types is a must to allow for meaningful geospatial visualization. e.g. Visualize crimes by police beat.

Please, please, please add this functionality! You can do this using SSRS, but it's not the best experience. Why not perfect it in Power BI?

It's a shame to have a datatype in MSSQL not supported in PBI

This should be added ASAP! Come on, fix this: how can you not support SQL spatial data types to be able to visualize this data type?

Dear Microsoft, Please support this feature. It a must have feature, and support your own geometry/geography data type from SQL Server seems a very reasonable move. Make geographic data to be visualized effectively and dynamically is so important. No needs for your users to build extra geographic data conversion between SQL Server and Power BI. Thanks!
