'+1 - Need a launch date. ODBC doesn't sound like a long term solution.

To Me: Power BI is the best BI-as-a-Service Solution. And Google BigQuery is the best DataWare-as-a-Service Solution. Both don't work well together. Considering Cost & Speed, it's better to stick to BigQuery than Power BI. This is how I will attempt to solve the problem: Use BigQuery with Metronic if Web App Consumption is my requirement: https://themeforest.net/item/metronic-responsive-admin-dashboard-template/4021469?s_rank=1 Here, BigQuery will constantly export jobs back to storage, and your website is built on storage!

BigQuery Dates and PowerBI Dates are not compatible when creating filters.

Do we envision this being able to publish BigQuery reports and/or use them in the Web version as well?

I can't import from Big Query in Power BI because I use legacy SQL. Tableau has got an "legacy SQL" checkbox in the import function which allows for this.

Hi, Would it be possible to add "SQL statements" when we create a connection to a Big Query database?

Agree with Elmer. I would like to be able write a query (join 2 tables and add a where clause) against Google big query data to make refresh possible
