Overview: Power BI currently allows users to subscribe to entire reports or individual report pages. However, there's no native functionality to specify a custom page range—for example, pages 2 through 5—in a subscription email. This limits the flexibility of report delivery, especially when only certain sections are relevant for specific stakeholders.
Proposed Enhancement: Introduce the ability to define a custom range of pages when configuring report subscriptions. This feature should allow users to:
Select specific page numbers (e.g., 1–3, 5, 7)
Choose contiguous or non-contiguous pages
Preview the selection before saving the subscription
Apply filters or slicers to all selected pages (optional)
Benefits:
More efficient report sharing by focusing on relevant content only
Reduces email load and improves recipient engagement
Allows tailored delivery for different roles or departments
Enhances user control and improves administrative efficiency
Use Cases:
A regional manager may only need to see sales dashboards specific to their zone (e.g., pages 2–4).
Finance teams might want only the KPI summary and forecast pages (e.g., pages 1 and 6).
Executives could receive a distilled view of multiple report sections across a single snapshot.
