Sudden increase in .pbix file size

I work as a BI consultant at a Microsoft CSP. I have built a model using sales data from Dynamics NAV which we will offer to our customers. I built the model and made a few report pages in the file and at this point the file size was close to 3MB. I then gave the file to a colleague that should finish the report and make them look nice. After working with the reports the file suddenly increases in size to a little more than 65MB (more than 22 times the original size). No changes have been made the data in the file only changes to the reports. I have tried to remove all the report pages from the file but this does nothing to the size it is still 65MB.

Hello Sdjensen, Any chance you have changed data types to date/time as part of those changes? There are many scenarios this will do what you are describing Thanks chuck

Did you turn on the auto Date Table feature ? In Options > Data Load >Time Intelligence Auto Date / Time ? If you have a lot of date fields it dramatically increase the file size.
