I'd add that it would be useful to allow mass-update of subscriptions within native mode. If a person joins a team and says "add me to all the subscriptions that my boss gets", it's painfully manual. Mailing to distribution lists is a great option if you can get them used consistently in an organization, but when there's variability, individual email addresses are still the norm. Email subscriptions are too popular to kill off, so we might as well make them easier to manage. ;)
