Stacked column chart: show "total labels" when the legend is filtered to contain only 1 item

I have a stacked column chart that can be cross filtered by multiple other visuals. The cross filtering could result in only one item of the legend to remain. In that case, the "Total" labels are no longer shown. As I don't have the "Data labels" enabled, I don't have any value on the visual. 

When "Total labels" is on, these should always be shown, independent of the number if items in the legend.
