Small Multiples for Gauge Visual

I would like to suggest an idea to add a field well where you can drop a column to create "small multiples" for the default (built-in)  gauge visual.

I see status is set as "New" but I am sure (based on numerous questions from various users in Community) that it is a long long time Need. Not sure when it could be addressed.

It's unclear why this idea is still marked as "New," considering it was first proposed back in 2021. Adding support for gauges in small multiples would be a highly efficient way to analyze sales managers' performance. It would eliminate the need to manually create separate measures for each individual. Bar charts simply don't offer the same visual clarity that gauges provide. Can anyone clarify why this idea, first suggested in 2021, still hasn’t been addressed? Thanks.
