Hi everyone. You can turn on search for slicers by clicking the ... in the top right of the visual and turning it on there. There is more that we'd like to do for slicers in general, and particularly around search (remembering search terms, building up tags of searched-for items etc.). Please keep voting on the other suggestions for these specific features (or creating new ones :)) Thanks!

I thought this wasn't necessary until we started building reports/dashboards for out marketing department. A search function is an absolute MUST as marketers view information by suburb & postcode. There needs to be an easier way for them to select the postcodes they need rather than scroll through thousands of postcodes.

This would be VERY helpful!!! Not to mention that this is the one of the main diferences between Microsoft BI and the competition...

Not sure, that this is necessary - if you add any field you need in filter area - you will get all this searching functionality.

It's hard to believe this wasn't in the first release - it just seems like common sense!

I'd like this feature very much given the list we have is over 10k, a slicer with search bar will be super useful.

Yes! It is available in so many tools. PowerBI needs it too.
