Slicer mandatory selection property

A property called "Mandatory select" would be nice under "Selection Controls" for the slicer. This would enforce filtering if the underlying dataset is very big. At least one value must be selected at all times if this property is turned on.

A very important feature. Please implement. Chiclet Slicer in the market place has it but that one lacks the drop-down option.

yes please! I need this to select the max(date) or Lastdate(date) or something like this. We want to show what's current, but allow viewing the past.

Just so you are all aware, if you have the available space in your report for a large slicer, the chiclet slicer has the capability to force selection.

I see that this is a rather old thread, but anyways:

Am I missing the point or isn't this implemented now (at least 2022) under "Format your visual" > Visual > Slicer settings > Selection > Single select?
