I have numerous matices and tables in a large PowerBI report aggregating loan data in many ways. It would be great to add a simple visual calc item to simply put the current row # on each row without having to write a bunch of ranking dax measures. anyway ranking measures wouldn't work for me - I want the row # listed to show position in the matrix or table respective of the visual itself, not by ranking the actual data. so not matter how the data is sorted, the first row always shows 1, second row 2, etc. This is simply to provide reference numbers to the audience viewing the report. anybody have any ideas? Or if this exists somewhere please let me know!
