Shortcuts should use current Variable Library values without having to Update Variables in Lakehouse
Currently, when a Library Variable used in a shortcut is updated, the change is not automatically reflected. We must manually go into the Lakehouse and click “Update All Variables.”
This creates unnecessary friction and is easy to forget, leading to inconsistent behavior.
Shortcuts that reference a Variable Library should always use the current value of that variable at runtime. Manual synchronization should not be required.
Additionally, shortcuts should not fall back to previously cached values. If a variable is invalid, the shortcut should fail immediately.
Transparent failures are preferable to silent use of outdated values.
