We created an Excel file connected to Salesforce using Power Query and stored it in SharePoint Online.
Our intention was to refresh the Excel data connections using an Office Script + Power Automate flow.
Issue:
Due to limitations in Excel Online, Office Scripts cannot refresh Power Query connections, which prevents us from auto-refreshing Salesforce data inside SharePoint Excel. This is a confirmed Microsoft limitation.
Suggestion: Build a feature enabling Power Query refresh in Excel Online using Automation.
