Is it possible to add the functionality of displaying labels (value, location, etc) on the Shape Map visual (in preview as of June 2016)? The visual does currently display a tooltip for the location.

- olivier10New MemberStill not an option as of February 2017. I know Power BI is focused on interactivity, but this severely limits the value of its maps outside of PBI dashboards, e.g. in presentations or print.
- bathnesresearchRegular VisitorShame this has such little interaction. It's possible to create a label using e/n and text values on a separate map. even just the ability to overlay a 'regular' map over the shapemap would be an improvement.
- lyhngo_babeNew MemberShape Map is so amazing, so data label should be added to this control asap

- bathnesresearchRegular VisitorGenuinely bemused this doesn't have more upvotes!
- fbcideas_migusrNew Memberincredible that this doesn't exist yet, at some point it would be great if PowerBI added a map that could actually be used in a business setting
- James_PerryNew Member'+1 - also increase the number of data points in Shape map https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/7394290-allow-more-data-points-to-be-displayed-on-a-map
- harshadpNew MemberThis is really needed. Please make the change.
