Bring the shape map that has been in Power BI preview for years into the Power BI Report Server. Preview features are not available in Power BI Report Server so on-premise only users cannot use shape maps and are stuck with bing maps. This makes Power BI on premise extremely limiting.

- Agreed. We have started using Synoptic Panel (https://okviz.com/synoptic-panel/) in order to get around this limitation.
- It is important to activate the shape map on the Power Bi Report Server. I use a lot of ToponJason maps and it’s very limiting not to have it on the Power Bi Report Server.
- Presently we have no internet connectivity from our PBIRS ; Shape Map visual associated with topojson files would be great for us
