Enable selection of the default scroll position for the x-axis on a chart. For example, on a line chart with dates as the x-axis, when not all of the data can display in the view at once, the scroll defaults to the beginning/left end of the x-axis and the most recent dates are at the far end causing the end user to always have to scroll to see the most recent data. If you could set the visual to default to the right end, then the user would only have to scroll if they wanted to see more history.

- You are completely right! Usually most recent data are the most interesting. Please make default position configurable.

- This would be great, dates are generally displayed from left to right (Early-> Latest). I want my users to see the latest data on the right which is currently hidden because the scrolling defaults left. Flipping the dates to have latest on the left is counterintuitive.
- This would pretty enhance the usability and readability of reports and especially of Dashboards where the line charts are very small and it is unconvenient to scroll all the way to the right! I just do not understand why this is not already an option because sorting dates from left to right beginning with the most recent is so irritating that it is not a real option
- I have had a number of key users request this feature so it appears to be an important and logical request.
- Being able to control things like this will be a great improvement.
