After switching from distrubuting our company reports through Workspaces to Apps, I lost the conveniency of sending a update to the Workspace to reach all users, and make them aware of changes/updates in the Reports. Access to the Apps is handled by AAD security groups. I would like to have a way to send an update to all users, either from within the app, or maybe create a pop-up window within the App that shows up automatically when people open the App?

- This should be an essential functionality of the Apps. I also currently have users added to Workspaces that are viewers only, and I, too, have recently been enjoying sending mass updates out to the users belonging to those Workspaces for Report changes, dataset updates, etc. I like the publishing control and customizability of the Apps, but I need a way to conveniently send mass updates to those App users - the Office 365 Groups are really nice. Please add this!
- This is a needed functionality. I have hundreds APP users, and we need a good channel to communicate changes, or new functionality in the reports. Or do you have any other way for me as an admin to communicate changes in the Apps to all users?
- This is definitely needed. When I publish new content, I'd like to be able to notify users of the new changes and have them reply if there are issues. Currently I need to set up Contact Lists in Outlook. Something like a "Send notfication to app contacts" section where you can type in a message and hit Send would be ideal.
- Our Power Bi manager updates the app data when he has time. This means I never know when app data is updated . Is it possible to configure our user preferences so we can receive an alarme email stating data was updated? Thank you!

Can we have automatic notification, when an app is republished to notify the end customers? It is possible for dashboard, but not for apps..
