When entering the "See Records" view, it allows you to decide which columns you view while you are in the "See Records", but after exiting "See Records" it reverts to the original view and removes the edits. There should be an option to save the edits made within the "See Records" view so the unnecessary columns can be removed and the important information can be viewed more easily, and can be saved so the report keeps the edits made when saved.

- benjipangNew MemberI agree. Being able to save formatting and template of which part of record to view is an important future upgrade
- finnpowerbiRegular VisitorI so much agree :-) And also to change the order
- jmcgrath2New Memberability to customize 'see records' would be ideal please .
- lburgess1New MemberStrongly agreed! What is the value of being able to edit/customize the list of fields in Power BI Desktop if you can't save the results?

I would argue that this is a bug, and not an additional feature, but it is hard to say since the documentation doesn't say one way or the other what the intended behavior is. https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-desktop-see-data-see-records/ - powervrRegular VisitorYes please
- ThisIsFrankFrequent VisitorIn full agreement with Steven Brown - seems more like a bug or an idea that was not fully implemented. Why be able to rearrange and edit values but not have them saved for the end user?
- arthur_proteauNew MemberHas this been fixed? I seem to have the same problem and just recently downloaded BI
- sean_mcmahon1New MemberCompletely Agree
- lowsonaNew MemberThe see records view is what most of my users like best about PowerBI as they can actually get down to row level detail of what items caused a particular spike e.t.c. Being able to make this view more palatable is very important. Hope this gets picked up soon
