Search and View Visual Object Names (ID's) within Power BI Desktop

The March release feature that allows the ability to copy the report object name from a visual in Power BI Desktop is a great feature. This helps you start with a visual in Power BI Desktop and find it within the pbir.

Often time it can be helpful to go from the pbir and find the visual in Power BI Desktop.

To build off the current feature, it would be very helpful to have a search box in the ribbon to paste the object name and be taken to the page and the visual. It could also be useful to be taken to the Selection pane in the case the visual is hidden.

In addition, it would be very helpful to be able to see the object name within the UI. The name could just be included in the button that you click to copy it. Currently, in order to check if a visual is the one that you are looking for you have to copy the object name and go and paste it somewhere. Visually just seeing the value would save a lot of time.

An example use case would be if you are trying to find all the visuals in which a measure is used. It is super handy to open up the pbip and search within VS Code. At this point you have the visual id and the page, but it can be hard to find the visual on a busy page in the desktop. The search box would make this very quick and easy. Finally, it would also be helpful to see the object name in the visual context menu or sub-menu if scanning visual by visual.
