This is something we would like to see as well. It would be very beneficial to trigger emails to admins for failed data refreshes and clients for successful data uploads. Could this please be incorporated in a near future release?

I am unable to understand why this feature hasn't been made already, since it is so essential! This feature would save me and my department from lots of error, complaints and tedious work hours!!!! Get it fixed now - as I am sure Tableau would!
