Save experiments and ML models on path, not in root directory

I am working on building classification models to help bolster silver layer data table. I can not store .pkl files in fabric or reliably store models after running in specified directory, goes right to the root directory. I would like to be able to save a model made in a notebook and be able to use it elsewhere in the workspace.
