We are using OLAP (multidimensional) for one of our client for more than 6 yrs now. We are looking to utilize this new PowerBI, but lack of support for multidimensional OLAP is a big road block for us. Any update on the timeline is highly appreciated.

We are a looking to utilize PowerBI to get more out of our on premise TFS environment. We have customized the environment and application to the point where we aren't a candidate for VS Online at this point which is why we need this functionality in PowerBI. Thank you! Mick

Hi All, We are looking into supporting MOLAP in Power BI. Continue voting on this so that it helps the product team prioritize the features across all the other feature requests. Thanks!

We would really like to move ahead with this and one of the key constraints that we have currently is the support for Multi Dimensional Cube . Any Ball park time line on this would really help us strategies our BI product strategy which is based on MSBI stack .

Another vote for native connectivity to SSAS OLAP cubes. You guys really are underestimating the uptick in usage of Power BI if you provided this support. SSAS OLAP cubes continue to be the "hidden gem" in the Microsoft BI stack.

Hello Power BI team, we have "Multidimensional OLAP" cubes for last 5 years. We are really looking to utilize the new Power BI for our finance business but the present limitation of Power BI ( not supporting Multidimensional cubes ) is a roadblock in offering the new capabilities. Would be great if you can prioritize on this as we have over 400 users across the world who would be possibly using the new Power BI connection to multidimensional once that's enabled. Thanks!

Agree, not supporting Multidimensional cubes is blocking us in offering the new capabilities within our Finance team.

A blocking issue for implementing PowerBI unfortunatly. Adding this feature is much appreciated. 3/3 votes.
