SAP BusinessObjects BI Universe

All of the current Ideas that mention SAP BusinessObjects BI Universe integration are marked as completed as this feature was offered pre June/July release. This is nearly a critical requirement for adoption in my organization. I had previously heard that this was removed due to licencing restrictions, can we get an official response on that? Is there any possibility of this being re-integrated?

Could some please assist me with the below Questions in Power BI Desktop:- Creating alias is possible or not? How is Report Performance in Power BI if number of users are more? Does Power-BI has any restriction on the number of columns? Whether we can edit or change the data source from one environment to other as we do in webi reporting (check for both .unv and .unx)?

I agree that this functionality is key to a lot of enterprise customers. It was one of the key elements in our strategy to provide open access to all enterprise users, using PowerBI tools. Please provide some direction as to where Microsoft is going with PowerBI/SAP (ECC and BW) integration.

I believe many organizations need this connectivity. We are one of them, who are evaluating Power BI as the frontend solution to our existing BI architecture. It's highly unlikely we can make huge changes to the BI backend which relies on HANA and BW.
