PowerBI would benefit from the addition of custom rulers to better align elements and an easy way to measure the distance of an object from the edges of the workspace or other objects.
Rulers would follow a typical drag and drop structure (similar to the Guides in PowerPoint), while the distance measurer would require pressing a hotkey to quickly get the measure of a button in the UI.
This would streamline the design procedure a lot and would reduce the effort required to design well crafted dashboards.
