Request: Add the Ability to Copy Data Ranges Directly to Clipboard in Power BI
Power BI does not allow users to copy a range of data (multiple rows and columns) directly from a table visual to the clipboard. Users can only copy individual cell values, which significantly limits the ability to work with filtered data efficiently.
In my case, users dynamically apply multiple filters to analyze specific subsets of data and capture relevant information in real-time. However, the lack of an option to copy filtered data ranges directly to the clipboard forces us to rely on the "Export Data" feature, which is cumbersome and impractical when working repeatedly with different filtered datasets.
Proposed Solution:
I propose implementing a new feature that allows users to select and copy a range of data (rows and columns) from a table visual in Power BI directly to the clipboard. This would enable users to paste the data into Excel or other tools without needing to export .csv files or use alternative methods.
Expected Benefits:
