Repeated Sign-In Prompts When Selecting Locally Imported Images or Inserted Shapes
I'm using Power BI Desktop for personal learning and dashboard design, without a work or school account. Every time I select an image (imported from my local drive) or a shape object (created using the Insert menu), I get a pop-up asking for my email address with a message about collaboration and organizational content.
This happens even though I'm working entirely offline and not using any cloud-linked features. The issue becomes especially disruptive when selecting multiple objects—if I select 5 shapes or images, the sign-in dialog appears five separate times, once for each object.
Please consider suppressing this prompt for users working in standalone mode, or provide a setting to disable it. Power BI Desktop is an excellent tool for independent learners—removing this friction would make the experience much smoother.
