Rename query steps without refreshing preview

While renaming query steps (right-click rename OR right-click properties) when you apply the name change, it will re-run the query step. Why? Best practice to rename query steps yet for very large data sets this becomes cumbersome during the queries initial development. Note: I could be missing something valuable that would prevent this, please advise.

I don't think you are missing anything! A simple rename can take as many minutes as it would to load in millions of rows. Hence why I have time to write this!

I agree with last two commenting on this. It is entirely too cumbersome to wait on every single reload for every single step. We need a faster way to accomplish this task. For many of us, it is likely the only documentation we have for the transformation.
