Description:
The “Edit Interactions” feature in Power BI is powerful for customizing how visuals influence each other. However, the label can be misleading—it suggests broader functionality than it actually provides.
Current Behavior: “Edit Interactions” only applies to visuals on the same report page (canvas). It does not affect visuals across multiple pages or tabs.
Suggested Improvement: Consider renaming the feature to something more intuitive, such as:
“Limit Visual Interactions”
“Customize Visual Filtering”
“Visual-to-Visual Interaction Settings”
Alternatively, add a tooltip or subtext that clarifies:
“Only applies to visuals on the current report page.”
Why This Matters: Clearer labeling improves usability, especially for new users. It helps set accurate expectations and reduces confusion when building interactive reports.
