Refresh only New Data or Modified File in Folder

My data read from a folder. Everyday I will put in a new file into the folder and when click refresh it will refresh all file in the folder which is time consuming. Can we have an option to "refresh only new file". The process of "refresh only new data" will be: 1) Any last modified file: based on modified date and changed name (so that it wont confuse as new file) 2) Any newly included file

    I really need this function, cause, the old files dont change, i only need to update the last file or the last modified file. Updating the rest of the files, it onbly makes the update more slow.

    Interesting why only 14 votes on this CRUCIAL function. Leaving aside the fact that the designers / programmers / developers from Microsoft have not thought about it from the beginning ... 40 minutes refresh every day is not funny... I need it...

    'I agree with Nicolas P and would like a functionality that would enable Power BI to consider new and updated files only, since thew last Refresh. Example (Date Format DD.MM.YYYY): - Power BI: Last Refresh Finish Timestamp: 03.10.2018 @09:00:00 - Excel file1: Last Updated Timestamp: 16.09.2018 @15:30:00 > Do not import file - Excel file2: Last Updated Timestamp: 04.10.2018 @08:15:00 > Import file (and "crush" the corresponding data already imported into Power BI during the last refresh) - Excel file3: New File posted 03.10.2018 @20:30:00 > Import file

    As much as I would like to link my PowerBi to an online or SQL data source, I can't. So I have to rely on downloading the data to Excel Files first. With every additional week the refresh takes longer and longer. Please, Microsoft, include this in the features!

    I have 25 Gigs in Data Lake Store and powerbi consuming the files, everytime that i make a refresh takes 40 minutes, i think this is a must.
