Re-pointing reports/dashboards at different data sources

Ability to build reports/dashboards pointing to a data source (database in the Development / UAT machine) and then use the same reports/dashboards pointing to another data source (in the Production machine.

We are just beginning to roll out PBIRS and our first clients are hitting this issue. They cannot access production systems, so an admin (me) has to pull their reports into Desktop, change the data source credentials, and re-upload. Very time-consuming and not a big confidence-builder for our client.

I have 100 internal customers who all need the same dashboards/reports just with a different data source. Is there a way to re-use dashboards?

We need to be able to point a report / dashboard at a different container in Blob storage. The file names and types (either CSV or XML per Msft recommendation) reside in a different container for a different client. How does an organization REUSE that report / dashboard against a different cotainer?!
