REST API support for Virtual Network Data Gateway and creating connections to it in semantic models

We would like to use Virtual Network Data Gateway for secure connection between our Power BI semantic models and data sources in Azure cloud (e.g. Azure Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL etc.). Currently there is no API, CLI or any other automation support for:

1. Creating VNet Data Gateway.
2. Setup data source in Power BI semantic model using VNet Data Gateway.

Would it be possible to add support either using REST API or CLI or any other automation way for creating, managing VNet Data Gateways and semantic model data sources using VNet Data Gateway?
