QuickBase as a Data Source

I am a a Quickbase Developer and would love to see a data connector for Quickbase in PowerPivot. We have customers from the aerospace industry and they have large amounts of data stored in Quickbase that they would like to easily bring into PowerPivot, just like you are doing with Salesforce (Quickbase and Salesforce are direct competitiors).

I provide consulting services to enable companies to connect QuickBase applications to PowerPivot and Power Bi.

My consulting company use QuickBase to track all our client projects. It's a home made CRM. We have deep need to query data from it directly into PowerBI. Would be great to figure out a connection.

I think you can do this by selecting XML as DataSource in PowerBI and passing the a=API_DoQuery on the query string params including your QuickBase Username and Password

My company works with many clients who would greatly benefit from a QuickBase connector. QuickBase is a great platform, but the ability to do really in-depth BI is something that is lacking.

Any chance that a connector will be developed for Quickbase any time soon? This has been on the Wish List for some time now and it would be great to have it included in PowerBI. We can of course connect using an ODBC connection, or by incorporating an API, but it stops all the thousands of Quickbase general users from easily making the connection. Quickbase is one of the fastest "low code" cloud database services available today and the whole focus is to bring in "citizen developers". A connector incorporated in PowerBI would allow those "citizen developers" to become "citizen developers" in PowerBI.

I will cast my vote in there too. I would really benefit from a connector between Power BI and QuickBase
