I noticed that quadrant charts are direly needed in PBI. In business, a simple method of categorizing data is highly needed and quadrant charts are a key visual in order to convey this information. The axis of these quadrant charts can either be of distinct or continuous variables. For example, the Gartner Magic Quadrant is an example for the former one, while the infamous BCG matrix is an example for the latter one.
Bonus:
By allowing for bubble sizes to vary, one can add a third dimension into a two-dimensional chart.
