Public URL for Dashboards

We (and many others) would like to be able to have a public URL for any dashboard that is created. This would enable us to share visualizations outside our organization, with partners, etc.

Embedding isn't as easy and accessible as simply supplying a public facing link to the dashboard.

I could certainly make use of this. I am currently looking at many other dashboard solutions to display office metrics on various screens that we have. PowerBI does everything I need except the ability to have a public URL to display on an AirTame device or similar. Even better would be the ability to lock down the public URL to specific IP addresses.

Our use case would be to have our "call center metrics" or "Sales dashboard" being displayed on your screens. The software on these screens (www.airtame.com) only accepts an URL. No login, no iframe - just a URL and then is should update automatic like the live dashboards

Iframes should not be used for security purposes...We are trying to move away from iframes.

I want to "publish" or share them via app.powerbi.com and not embedded in another website I have to maintain.

We are also using airtame and would like to have a public dashboard available to use it from there with no authentication, if possible restricted to specified IP's

No, "embedding" a report in a public site via iframe would not be sufficient, because that would require administrative access and development work that would have to be submitted to my organization's IT department for approval, which would likely be denied, especially if I only need a public link to be accessible for a short time, such as during development of a new report in order to obtain feedback and to review initial problems, etc. Furthermore, I would likely not be allowed to embed a work-related report onto a personal webpage, which would also require having a personal webpage and knowledge with how to embed it, none of which I have. All I need is a public workspace or folder to be made available within Power BI that would allow us to save specific reports in it for public sharing without any special skills or access, similar to Dropbox's shared folder and shared link option: https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/share/share-file-or-folder

It would be so beneficial to have a public URL to a dashboard (or publish a dashboard to web), when no special security is required for the underlying datasets. It benefits the users as well as the IT admin in my company, because no hoops like approval/ adding guests/ login need to be jumped before people can view the powerful visuals.
