We urgently need this update. All enterprise datasets are updated via standard gateway, if python can only be updated via personal gateway it makes it incompatible to work with other datasets.

This update will enhance our performance by allowing professional visualisation in Python. However, at the moment, we are not able to use Python as all our datasets are configures using On premise gateway and we have to be consistent.

Why do we bother upvoting these?

We never get any feedback from Microsoft as to whether it's being looked into or whether it's been rejected.

Microsoft always encourages voting on their support replies, but then do nothing with it. It almost seems like a cop-put to say "we don't have it, but rather than bothering up, go and click this pointless button with no feedback".

I'd like to even know if it's not going to be implemented, that would be a better system. Any kind of 2-way communication would be nice.

Without enterprise gateway support for power bi python scripting, python scripting is practically useless for organizations. This feature should be added at the earliest to allow users to utilize the power of python scripting.
